NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Geraldine May Bender, 87, of Fayette, who died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at a later date.

Mrs. Bender was born Nov. 3, 1925 in Elkhart, Ind., the daughter of Ellis and Lela Tyree Belt. She was a member of Stanton Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bender was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, the Rev. Richard L. Bender and one brother, Marvin Belt.

Survivors include one daughter, Priscilla Massie and husband, Mark, of Fayette; one son, Wayne Bender of Fayette; two sisters, June Goodman of Elkhart and Marilyn Goode and husband, Bradley, of Salem, Ill., and a number of nieces and nephews.
