NATCHEZ — Joshua Bergeron has joined the The Natchez Democrat’s news team as a news reporter.

Bergeron is a North Carolina native. As the son of a career military father, however, Bergeron grew up in 11 different cities, including Stuttgart, Germany.

He graduated high school in Killen, Ala., and recently graduated from Louisiana State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

During his time at LSU, Bergeron worked as a reporter, graphic designer and copy editor for The Daily Reveille, the LSU student newspaper.

In his free time, Bergeron enjoys cheering for the Bayou Bengals.
