NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Frankie Lee Skipper, 74, of Natchez, who died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at her residence, will be at noon Saturday at Grove A.M.E Church with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Grove A.M.E. cemetery under the direction of Bateaste M10:10 Frankie Skipper obit picemorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Skipper was born Sept. 25, 1939, in Adams County, the daughter of Leonard and Susie Skipper.

She was a member of Grove A.M.E. Church. She attended Brumfield School. She enjoyed cooking and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Bertha Lewis, Laura Porter, Nancy Skipper and Susie Skipper; four brothers, Burl Skipper, Henry Skipper, Dan Davis and Leonard Skipper; one sister-in-law, Ethel Skipper.

Survivors include two sisters, Hattie Dennis and husband, Longino, and Mattie Banks of Natchez; two sisters-in-law, Mary Davis and Rosa Skipper of Natchez; two step-sons, Grant Dunbar and wife, Mary of Natchez and James Lee and wife, Betty of Dunbar, Mich.; and two step-daughters, Jannie Sewell and husband, Lee, and Sally Dumas and husband, John, all of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Banks, Peter Banks, Henry Skipper, Picardo Thomas, Larry Banks and McArthur Scott.
