Natchez native admitted to La. Bar Association

NEW ORLEANS — Casey Etheridge Desselles, a Natchez native, recently passed the Louisiana bar exam and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar Association.

She is currently employed at Seal & Ross in Hammond, La.

Desselles graduated in May from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, where she was a recipient of the dean’s scholarship.

During law school, she worked with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Administrative Law Judges in Covington, La., as well as with the U.S. Bankruptcy court in New Orleans.

She also served as senior notes and comments editor of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal.

Desselles earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Southern Mississippi and was a Rhodes Scholar nominee.

She graduated summa cum laude. She earned her Master of Arts in English degree from the University of Mississippi and was a teaching assistant.

She is an Adams County Christian School graduate, where she was the valedictorian.

She is the daughter of Glenn and Cindy Etheridge of Natchez.
