Mrs. Dana Marie Grantham of Vidalia and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mitchell “Mike” Grantham of Ferriday announce the engagement of their daughter, Lissa Marie Grantham to Benjamin Myles Hopkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Myles Hopkins of Ferriday.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and is a graduate of Alcorn State University in Natchez.

She is employed by Riverpark Ambulatory Surgery Center in Vidalia as a registered nurse.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Frances B. Doran and the late Thomas J. “Tommy” Doran of Ferriday and Mr. Frank W. Grantham and the late Doris M. Grantham of Ferriday.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Huntington High School in Ferriday and a graduate of Baton Rouge Community College in Baton Rouge with a degree in business administration.

He is employed by Delta Fuel Company in Ferriday.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Audley Smith of New Roads, La., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack G. Hopkins of Waterproof.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Rosalie mansion in Natchez.

A reception will follow.
