Thursday, April 17:

Jermaine Albert has his formal Post Release Supervision under the supervision of the Mississippi Department of Corrections revoked in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court for violating terms and conditions of his probation: rule No. 4: not have in possession nor use any alcoholic beverages, marijuana, narcotics or other controlled substances; rule No. 10: not violate any laws of the United States, and is sentenced to seven years in the MDOC.

Andrew Morgan pleaded guilty to unlawful taking of a motor vehicle — non-habitual in Judge Sanders’ court. Sentenced to five years in MDOC, which shall run consecutively with the post release revocation sentence in cause numbered 13KR0026-S. Credit given for any time already served in the Adams County Jail. Morgan also has his formal post-release supervision under the supervision of MDOC revoked in Judge Sanders’ court for violating terms and conditions of his probation: rule No. 3: regularly report in person to his probation officer as directed to him or by the Court; rule No. 10: not violate any laws of the United States, and is sentenced to one year in MDOC.

Jermaine K. Albert pleaded guilty to uttering a forgery (Count 4) in Judge Sanders’ court. Sentenced to five years in MDOC, which shall run consecutively with the post-release revocation sentence in cause numbered 07KR01040B-S. Before release from MDOC, the defendant shall enter into and complete the long term alcohol and drug treatment program. Credit given for any time already served in the Adams County Jail. Count 5, uttering a forgery, is dismissed.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Friday, April 18:

Albert James Brown, 29, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 21 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve nine days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.

Tiffany Pilgrim, 22, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one pending good behavior. To serve three days in jail. Fine set at $573.

Pyerrick Medcalf, 26, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve three days in jail. Fine set at $573.

Robert Vernon Todd Jr., 27, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 26 day suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve four days in jail. Fine set at $573. Todd Jr. was also charged with malicious mischief. Case remanded to files in consideration of guilty plea on shoplifting charge.

Demetrice Scott pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.

Brittany Jordan Thompson, 27, pleaded guilty to littering. Fine of $125 paid in full.

Monday, April 21:

Derrin E. Hughes, 23, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $548. Bond set at $1,500.

Victoria Granier Perry, 41, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $648.

Steven Felter, 20, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.

Edwin Holmes, 60, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $400.

Jermail Thomas, 27, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $573.

Jessica Busby pleaded guilty to misdemeanor misuse of a credit cart. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $423. Restitution set at $39.94.

Tuesday, April 22:

Jermond M. Banks Sr., 29, charged with burglary of a commercial building, cars, etc. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Krystal D. Dennis, 30, charged with shoplifting — third offense (felony). Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $2,500 to $1,500.

Krystal D. Dennis/Morgan, 30, charged with shoplifting — over $500 (felony). Case remanded to file in consideration of co-defendant pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charge. Dennis/Morgan was also charged with shoplifting — third offense. (felony). Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $2,500 to $1,500.

Takarri Thamora Wallace, 37, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor shoplifting. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Belk. Fine set at $800 — satisfied by time served. Bond set at $7,500.

Travon Shonell Lyles, 34, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 60 days with 55 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Credit given for five days served. Fine set at $525. Bond set at $2,000.

Rusty Lee Fitt, 37, pleaded guilty to amended charge of simple assault – domestic violence. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Satisfied with time served — 39 days in jail. Fine set at $500. Bond set at $20,000. Fitt also pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Satisfied with time served — 39 days in jail. Fine set at $500. Bond set at $3,000. Fitt was also charged with disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Case retired — subject to pleas to simple assault — domestic violence.

Anthony Thompson charged with armed robbery. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.

Wednesday, April 22:

Breante Butler, 18, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.

Teshauna Ross, 18, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.

Tabatha Brooke Crouch, 23, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 22 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for eight days served. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573 minus $100 credit. Must pay a fine of $473.

Leonard Johnson, 20, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.

Kiara Mercedes Ellis, 20, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 23 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for seven days served. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573 minus $75 credit. Must pay a fine of $498.

Darian Shavon Johnson, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 23 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for seven days served. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $713 minus $75 credit. Must pay a fine of $638. Johnson also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.

Roclyn Champlin pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Fine set at $573.
