Wendell and Susan Fontenot of Oscar, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacy Kay Fontenot to Duncan Franklin Guedon Jr., son of Jenny O’Quinn Guedon and Dr. Frank Guedon of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Wilkinson County Christian Academy in Woodville and Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, and she is attending the University of South Alabama’s College of Graduate Nursing.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McDuff of Baton Rouge and Mr. and Mrs. Lenard Fontenot of Oscar.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and Mississippi State University in Starkville.

He is employed by B&B Specialty Contractors in Memphis.

He is the grandson of Marie O’Quinn and the late Thomas O’Quinn of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Emile Guedon of Church Hill.

The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Stanton Hall in Natchez.

A reception will follow at the Carriage House.
