Danny Ray Burkes charged with aggravated assault. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Monday, June 2

Tony Givens, who was convicted of burglary of a dwelling and sentenced to three years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections suspended and placed on probation for three years on May 23, 2011, has his probation terminated in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court after conforming to the conditions of said probation and conducting himself in a law-abiding manner.

Transanthony Williams, who was convicted of shooting into an occupied dwelling and sentenced to five years in MDOC suspended and placed on post release supervision for four years and four months on Aug. 26, 2009, has his post release supervision terminated in Judge Sanders’ court after conforming to the conditions of said post release supervision and conducting himself in a law-abiding manner.

Friday, May 23

Tony D. Hill, 50, found guilty of disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.

Brandon Colenburg, 21, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Fine set at $573.

Karen Fort, 40, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $573.

Friday, May 30

Jeremy R. Watkins, 24, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $518.

Melvin L. Green, 57, pleaded guilty to 10 counts of misdemeanor false pretense.

Latoya S. Jackson, 25, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $573.

Candice L. Martin, 25, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve three days in jail. Fine set at $573.

Tranequa M. Roby, 20, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $573.

Krystal Dennis Morgan pleaded guilty to trespassing. Sentenced to 45 days with 39 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve six days in jail. Fine set at $625.

Monday, June 2

Jeremy K. Coates pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Fine set at $623.

Linda M. Green Jennings, 62, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended to run concurrently for one year pending good behavior. Total fine set at $428.

Ronald Riley, 20, pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Tuesday, June 3

James Anderson, 19, pleaded guilty to grand larceny reduced to joy riding. Sentenced to 60 days with 54 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Credit given for six days served. Fine set at $450 minus $300 suspended. Must pay a fine of $150.

Khadijah Isiah Mosby, 21, charged with armed robbery. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held. Bond reduced from $45,000 to $25,000.

Alicia A. Willard, 30, charged with burglary of a commercial building, cars, etc. Case remanded to files — committed to Whitfield.

Kimberly Keairrra Myles, 22, charged with possession of a stolen firearm. Case dismissed without prejudice — no probable cause that defendant knew gun was in car.

Jonquil Jackson, 18, charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. No bond set.

Jamie Walley, 39, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 60 days with 30 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Credit given for 30 days served. Fine set at $623. Bond set at $45,000.

Fredrick W. Washington Jr., 22, pleaded guilty to reduced charge of simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 60 days with 30 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Credit given for 30 days served. Fine set at $623. Bond set at $45,000.

Jerome Robinson charged with burglary. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $90,000 to $75,000.

Wednesday, June 4

Benjie Credle, 33, charged with violating the leash law for dogs. Case remanded to files upon payment of $257 in medical bills.

James Skipper, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $595.

Teshauna Ross, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — second offense. Sentenced to 60 days with 51 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve nine days in jail. Banned from store. Fine set at $673.

Telvin D. Bates, 20, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
