Chrystal Stearns of Washington announces the engagement of her daughter, Amanda Stearns to Trey Whittington, son of Jamie and Ann Whittington of Lake St. John.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Lonnie Stearns of Washington.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Adams County Christian School and is employed by Halliburton in Oklahoma City, Okla.

He is the grandson of Doug and Angela Madison of Lake St. John.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Hamburg Baptist Church in Roxie.

A reception will follow at the home of the bride and groom.
