Natchez man booked after hitting pole

NATCHEZ — A Natchez man was arrested late Saturday night for driving under the influence after crashing his vehicle on Franklin Street.

James A. Gossett, 27, 305 Holly Road, was charged with DUI after the incident, which reportedly damaged a light pole.

Natchez Police Department Lt. Craig Godbold said no one was injured in the incident.
