FERRIDAY — Services for Rosalie Oliveaux Chandler, 91, of Ferriday who died Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, at Riverland Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. Byron Beaubouef officiating.

Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Chandler was born Dec. 10, 1923, in Crowville, La., the son of Will and Fannie Arnold Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Felix Oliveaux; husband, George Chandler; one daughter, Joanne Lord; one son, Jimmy Ray Oliveaux; six brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include two sons, OJ Oliveaux and wife, Yvonne, of Ferriday and Richard Oliveaux and wife, Shirley, of Monroe, La.; one daughter, Alice Oliveaux of Ferriday; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Larry Oliveaux, Greg Taylor, Wade Oliveaux, Larry Lawrence, Jonathan Gower and Jimmy Neely.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
