FERRIDAY — Firefighters from Concordia Fire District No. 2, Ferriday Fire Department and Vidalia Fire Department responded to a house fire Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Fifth Street and Georgia Avenue in Ferriday.

Firefighters were dispatched to the call at approximately 1 p.m. and are working to contain the blaze.
