NATCHEZ — Services for Robert “Bob” Williamson, 68, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Baptist Church in Natchez with the Rev. Spruce Dearden officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Williamson was born Nov. 4, 1946, in Fayette, the son of Pierce and Louise Williamson.

He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Natchez.

He was also a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

Bob loved to hunt and fish, almost as much as he loved the Alabama Crimson Tide.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Williamson; two daughters, Shelia Armentrout and husband, Scott, of Kingsport, Tenn., and Diane Williamson Verucchi and husband, Conner, of Natchez; one son, Robert “Jason” Williamson and wife, Rindy, of Natchez; three stepsons, Charlie Johns and Nikki of Texas, Robert Johns of Louisville, Ky., and Tyler Simmons and Erin Dickens of Natchez; 15 grandchildren, George and Will Armentrout, Collin and Weston Verucchi, Luke, Sara and Peyton Williamson, Cody, Cara, Caylee, Braxton, Ashleigh, Katelynn, Harliegh and Declan Johns; two great-grandchildren, Braden Johns and Kyliegh Johns; one brother, Paul Smith; and two sisters, Brenda Case and Zelda Williamson.

Pallbearers will be Chris Nelson Brown, Robert Johns, Tyler Simmons, Jason Exelby, Kelly Moore and Jimmy Stroud.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Howington, Lance Moore and Tommy Elveston and the entire A-shift at Concordia Parish Corrections Facility.
