NATCHEZ — Services for Virginia L. Dunmore Pettis, 74, of Natchez, who died Thursday, April 2, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital Bartlett, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at LaGrange Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Reed officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Pettis was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Dorothy Dunmore; one brother, Charles Dunmore; one sister, Mary A. Bates; and her husband, Clarence Pettis Jr.

Survivors include eight children, Frankie Dunmore, Julius Dunmore, Thomas Dunmore and wife, Gracey, Vincent Dunmore and wife, Wanda, Karl Dunmore and wife, JoAnn, Clarence Pettis III, Pamela Johnson and husband, Anthony, and Letrell Pettis; one sister, Stephanie Dunmore; and special friends of the family, Walter Sledge, Maxine Seals, Mary Johnson and William Douglas.

Pallbearers will be Willie Seals, Karl Dunmore, Marvin Cooks, Letrell Pettis, Charles Reynolds and Rodrick Dunmore.
