Animal cruelty rears its ugly head

Well, in sadness, I write this. Our little Bae Bae has died.

The poison of the antifreeze someone gave him just did too much damage. Dr. Debbie Guillory and Dr. Veronica did everything possible and impossible for him.

We thank them so much for giving us a little more time to love him and for him to love us. Bae Bae’s favorite thing every morning was to chase a squirrel up the tree. Then the squirrel would come down and run him to the door. Once inside, Bae would let him know he was still in charge.

But Sunday, the little squirrel seemed to know Bae wouldn’t run him; he lingered for awhile and then left.

After Bae’s daily chase, he only had time for a short nap before the trash man would be here, and Bae would have to defend us.

After that, he would wait for his daddy to come home for lunch. He would wait by the door until he saw his truck.

My husband lost his faithful little buddy.

To the cruel and heartless person that did this, I fear what else you are capable of. And we’ll never give up trying to find out who did this.

Thank you so much Dr. Veronica and your little assistant at Miss-Lou Vet for being so kind to us when Bae died.
