Vidalia — The Concordia Parish Library is hosting a lecture series titled “We’re Just Folks — Southern Style” from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays beginning Aug. 26 and continuing until Sept. 9, at the library.

Georgiann Potts will be the presenter and each week will feature short stories and discussion.

The events are free and open to the public. All of the presentations will be at the Vidalia library.
