Tuesday, Feb. 1:


John W. Goeggle Jr., 30, pleaded guilty to simple assault. Sentenced to 60 days with 58 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Credit given for two days served. Fine set at $650. Goeggle was also charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Case remanded to files.


Roosevelt Stokes, 53, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Satisfied by time served.


Gary Nelson Sr., 42, charged with aggravated assault/domestic violence – felony. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $65,000 to $50,000.


Roosevelt Stokes, 53, charged with burglary of a commercial building, cars, etc. ase bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $30,000.


Rodney D. Arbuthnot, 34, pleaded guilty to expired tag. Fine set at $147. Arbuthnot also pleaded guilty to failure to maintain insurance proof in vehicle. Fine set at $262. Arbuthnot was also charged with disorderly conduct. Case dismissed subject to pleading on traffic and other charge.


Wednesday, Feb. 2:


Rickey Lanell Adams Jr., 21, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $342.


David Preston Buckles, 25, found not guilty to careless driving. Buckles was also found guilty of DUI 1st offense no test. Sentenced to 48 hours suspended. Fine set at $728.


Michael Joseph Madison, 30, found guilty of three counts of disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior on each count. Fine set at $367 with $192 suspended on each count.


Robert Dexter Madison, 29, found not guilty of trespassing upon enclosed land.


Ellen Williams charged with disorderly conduct – failure to comply with officer. Case remanded to files at request of officer.

Vertis Rowan Flanagan, 63, pleaded guilty to violating the city’s noise ordinance. Sentenced to three days suspended. Fine set at $247.

David Andrew Hude, 27, found guilty of shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from store. Fine set at $467.


Lucy Johnson Jones, 52, found guilty of amended charge of shoplifting – 2nd offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 24 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve six days in jail. Banned from Kmart. Fine set at $692. Jones was also found not guilty of willful trespassing.


Lamark Dorrell Sullivan, 23, charged with simple assault – domestic violence. Case remanded to files.

Landell Detrall Scott, 31, charged with resisting arrest. Case remanded to files.


Dura Lee Prater, 26, charged with window tint. Case remanded to files. Prater was also charged with DUS – revoked or suspended. That case was also remanded to files.


Jermier Rashard Benton, 24, charged with two counts of burglary – commercial building, cars, etc. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $25,000 to $20,000 on each count.


Jerome Robinson, 47, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor petit larceny. Fine set at $450. Restitution set at $550.


Lance A. White, 34, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $65,000 to $45,000.


Ntianu Long, 61, charged with arson of a dwelling. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $65,000 to $50,000.


Don Terry Lee, 52, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor petit larceny. Sentenced to 90 days with 60 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Thirty days served. Fine of $450 suspended.


Dewayne Montrell Young, 22, charged with burglary – commercial building, cars, etc. Case bound over to a grand jury. No bond.

Terry Wendell Woods, 35, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of drugs. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $537. Woods also pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule III and Schedule IV controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $537. Woods also pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $537. Woods also pleaded guilty to window tint. Fine set at $158.


Corey Sloane Latham, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $442.
