Concordia Parish Academy of Math, Science, and Technology student Brody Seals celebrates winning the book walk, which was a play on a cakewalk, with his fellow student Tate Walsworth during the school’s Fall Family Night. One of the goals of the night was getting students and parents to see the importance of reading at home. The school did this by playing games in which books were the prizes and by reading to the students various children’s books. (Sam Gause/The Natchez Democrat)
