FERRIDAY — Services for John O. Jones, 85, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at Oakdale Community Hospital in Oakdale, La., will be 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Jones was born April 20, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of Herbert and Mary Johnson Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Price Jones; one son, Orlando Jones; two daughters, Selena Jones and Ja’myri Jones, all of Vidalia; three stepchildren, Tommie Carter and wife, Jean, of Baton Rouge, Jeremy Jefferson and wife, Pauline, and Jasmine Dotson of Vidalia; and a number of grandchildren.
