NATCHEZ — Services for Elver Johnson “Lit Bit” Reynolds, 69, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ-God’s Son with the Rev. Darren Johnson officiating.

Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Reynolds was born May 26, 1941, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Charlotte Lee and Steve Johnson Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alex Reynolds.

Survivors include one daughter, Beulah “BJ” Johnson; two sons, Robert Johnson and Larry Johnson; two grandchildren, Shavondra Johnson and Larry Johnson Jr.; one great-grandson, Jonathan Smalley, all of Natchez; three brothers, Joe Johnson and wife, Regina, Steve Johnson and wife, Bertha, and the Rev. Willie Johnson; five sisters, Matildy Johnson and Pearlina Rice, both of Natchez, Flora Gooden of McGee, Sarah Howard of New Orleans and Eliose Tucker and husband, LeAndrew, of Chicago; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
