NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Services for Geré S. Campbell, 76, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Natchez, who died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, in Nashville, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday, both at the funeral home.

Mrs. Campbell was born Dec. 26, 1934, in Lake Charles, La., the daughter of George D. and Marie LaBauve Soulier.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William L. Campbell Sr.; her in-laws, Melvin and Bernice Campbell; one sister-in-law, Eloise Jennings; and one brother-in-law, Lynn Waller.

Survivors include one daughter, Michelle Luschen and husband, T.J., of Nashville, and children, Campbell, Thomas and Mark; two sons, William L. Campbell and wife, Carol, of Houston, Texas, and children, Drew, Caitlan and Will and Michael D. Campbell and wife, Leigh, of Germantown, Tenn., and children, David and Jackson; one brother-in-law, Charles Jennings of Natchez; and one sister-in-law, Carmen Waller of Magnolia, Ark.

Pallbearers will be Will Campbell, T.J. Luschen, Chase Jennings, Chuck Jennings, Glenn Delaney, Paul Soulier, Danny Soulier and Jeffery Soulier.

The family requests that memorials be sent to the Natchez Children’s Home.
