Jatavis Melton tallied four hits Saturday and the Natchez High School pitchers combined to toss eight scoreless innings as the Bulldogs swept Crystal Springs and Amite County, 7-0 and 6-0, respectively.
Melton recorded two hits in both games and swiped five total bases Saturday.
Jordan Hamilton got the win for Natchez in the opener, tossing three innings.
Tray Davis closed Game 1 with a scoreless frame, then threw three more shutout innings in Game 2.
Natchez will play its first regular season game next Saturday when it travels to West Lincoln for a tournament.
