Leevander Jackson pleaded guilty to simple assault.

Marilyn Hall pleaded guilty to simple assault.

Jarvanti Doss charged with two counts of attempted murder and drive-by shooting. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Lakendrick Washington charged with attempted murder and drive-by shooting. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Jeffery Huseman pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Natchez Municipal Court 

Friday, Aug. 19

Wesley Pendleton, 26, pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 48 hours in jail. Fine set at $653.

Reginald Dorsey pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573. Dorsey also pleaded guilty to trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Tuesday, Aug. 23

Kelsey S. Viola, 19, charged with grand larceny. Case remanded to files for one year at recommendation of prosecutor. Subject to treatment and restitution paid to victims outside of court — no other charges.

Majorie McGee, 49, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor petit larceny. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $750. Restitution set at $1,050 to paid to Walmart. Bond set at $1,500.

Michael Shawn Simpson, 34, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor trespassing. Victim present and does not wish a ban of defendant. Fine set at $350. Bond set at $5,000.

Matthew Williams, 27, charged with burglary. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

Michael Pierce, 43, charged with shoplifting — first offense. Case remanded to files — prosecution witness failed to appear on served subpoena and defendant also failed to appear.

Natasha V. Johnson, 42, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case dismissed on motion of defense after complainant failed to appear on subpoena.

Nathanial J. Martin Jr., 46, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case dismissed on motion of defense after complainant failed to appear on subpoena.

Michael Lance Cole, 36, charged with DUI — other substance. Motion to nolle pros due to medical seizures condition. Production of prescription for medication. Quantity of prescription consistent with proper use. Officer not present.

Lucas Hayman Jennings, 37, pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Magnolia Bluffs Casino. Fine set at $425 minus $150 cash bond transfer. Must pay a fine of $275.

Joe Nathan Green, 65, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Natchez Market 1. Fine set at $598.

Curtis D. Sanders, 42, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days concurrent with other days. No fine assessed.
