NATCHEZ — A masked man armed with a handgun reportedly robbed Kaiser’s Mobil Mart on U.S. 61 North and fled with more than $1,500 Tuesday evening.

Adams County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Jerry Brown said surveillance footage shows the suspect, who appears to be a black man, come into the store wielding a chrome pistol and demand money.

The suspect then escaped in a getaway car, which deputies have been unable to identify because it was dark outside, Brown said.

Three clerks were present in the store at the time of the robbery, Brown said.
