MEADVILLE — Services for Bobby Joe O’Quinn III, 19, who died Saturday, April 2, 2011, in Franklin County, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Franklin County High School Auditorium.

Burial will follow at Burnett Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the school auditorium.

Bobby was born Aug. 21, 1991, in Brookhaven, the son of Bobby Joe O’Quinn Sr. and Valeria A. Moore O’Quinn. He was a member of the Power Lifting Club, Archery Club and played football.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bobbie Sue Shaw and Douglas Shaw Sr.; paternal grandfather, James “Tom Cat” O’Quinn; and two aunts, Ann O’Quinn and Alice Hellom and her husband, Joseph Hellom.

Survivors include a loving and devoted mother and father; paternal grandmother, Essie O’ Quinn of Union Church; maternal great-grandmother, Bertha Mae Hickenbottom; four sisters, Barica Moore and companion, Terance Magee, De’Noshia O’Quinn and Brianta O’Quinn, all of Bude, and La’Shonda Martin of Jackson; two brothers, Bobby Joe O’Quinn II and wife, Samantha, of Webb, Ala., and Zorian O’Quinn of Bude; six aunts, Carolon Coleman and husband, Leon, Gayle Collins and husband, George Jr., all of Bude, Kathie Jean O’Quinn, Angela O’Quinn, Tammy Herrington, all of Union Church, and Aretha Butler and husband, Walter, Wesson; two uncles, Douglas “D.J.” Shaw Jr. of Bude and Clarence O’Quinn of Union Church; special friends, Quartez Clark and D.J. Anderson; and a number of other relatives and friends.
