Wednesday, Nov. 22

Stephanie Lynn Cowart, 24, charged with hit and run: failure to stop or comply. Case dismissed — state witness failed to appear.

Marilyn Chantal Johnson, 21, charged with credit card use to obtain things of value/to operate ATM with intent to defraud. Case dismissed — not a criminal matter (case).

Dierre Nicholson, 21, pleaded guilty to violation of municipal criminal ordinances. Fine set at $321.

Tyaundra Batteaste, 40, charged with burglary; inhabited dwelling house, whether armed or not, whether occupied or not. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.

Christopher Byrd, 27, charged with aggravated assault — domestic violence. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.

Nedrick Kermaine Hawkins, 33, charged with felon carrying a concealed weapon. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Jamarkus Deshun Colenburg, 18, charged with simple assault — attempt by fear. Case dismissed at request of attorney – state witness not served – unable to go forward.

Carl Evans, 31, charged with disturbing the peace. Case dismissed — victim not served — state unable to go forward. Evans also charged with simple assault — attempt by fear of imminent serious bodily harm. Case dismissed — victim not served — state unable to move forward.

Dailan Freddie Gordan, 19, charged with simple assault — domestic violence (2nd offense). Sentenced to 180 days with 90 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 90 days in jail from time of arrest.

Terrinika Lamonetta White, 25, charged with willful trespassing. Case dismissed at request of attorney — victim refused to cooperate with subpoena process.

Timothy Aaron Cupit, 34, pleaded guilty to trespassing on posted land, entering without permission. Sentenced to 10 days with nine days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for one day served. Fine set at $400.

Ray Anthony Gibson, 42, pleaded guilty to DUI — refusal to submit to test. Fine set at $800 minus $200 cash bond transfer. Must pay a fine of $600.

Pamela Ridley, 44, pleaded nolo contender to embezzlement — agents/trustees/clerks/persons. Sentenced to 60 days with 59 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for one day served. Fine set at $575. Restitution set at $156 to be paid to Ollie’s Bargain Outlet.

George Dale Williams, 62, pleaded guilty to violation of municipal criminal ordinances: leash law – dogs running at large. Fine set at $333 plus $100 for a handicapped ticket. Suspend $50 for final payment if handicap placard is gotten.
