WOODVILLE — Services for Evelyn A. Brown, 60, of Woodville, who died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Newman Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with the Rev. Warren Whitaker officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brown was born Aug. 23, 1957, in Jefferson County, the daughter of William Stephenson and Lottie Bell Sullivan Stephenson.

She was employed by Catchings Clinic in Woodville as a receptionist.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joe Stephenson.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Brown; one daughter, Amanda Carny of Quitman; one son, Michael Brown of Angola, La.; two sisters, Betty Ann Mann of Roxie and Elaine Myers of Summit; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Sean Yarbrough, Jason Coco, Kyle Carter, Phil “Mann” Johnson, Dexter Johnson and Nation Dover.
