NATCHEZ — Services for Debbie Ann Bernard-White, 59, of Natchez, who died Thursday, July 26, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Clifton Marvel officiating.       
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. White was born May 23, 1959, in Natchez, the daughter of James Harris Jr. and Beatrice Bernard-Lewis.
White accepted Christ at an early age at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Rueben Logan. She was a graduate of North Natchez High School and was employed for a number of years by Natchez Regional Medical Center.
White was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jessie “Dune” Lewis; maternal grandparents, Joe Bernard and Annie Bernard Pettis; paternal grandparents, James Harris Sr. and Rosia Harris; and one brother, Vernon Eric Bernard.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Walter White; two sons, Tranthony Bernard and wife, Kameishia, and Aadrian Bernard and wife, Nikki; her mother; three sisters, Brenda C. Bernard, Lula M. Turner and Jeanette Jenkins; seven brothers, Joseph C. Lewis, Reginald Harris, Tony Harris, Cartrell Harris, Kelvin Harris, Carlos Lewis and Jessie Lewis Jr. and wife, Darlene; one aunt, Jackie Sims; five special nieces, LaTarsha Thomas, Nongula Bernard, Brandi Bernard, Candi Bernard and Tanaka Brown; special friend, Sybil Green; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
