NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Baroni Warren, 93, of Natchez, who died Monday, August 13, 2018, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Warren was born Aug. 17, 1924, in Natchez, the daughter of Attlia Baroni and Antonia Meretti Baroni.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, N.B. “Strawberry” Warren and 14 siblings.
Survivors include six children, Patricia Tharp and husband, Danny, of Selma, Ala., Ricky Warren and wife, Janet, Robert Warren and wife, Cathy, all of Natchez, Lynn Miller and husband, Roy, of Waxahachie, Texas, Brenda Hudson and husband, Edward, of Monroe, La., and Janie Wells and husband, Bobby, of Summit; 17 grandchildren, Jeff Tharp, Jim Tharp, Bonnie Wilson, Brian Warren, Chandler Warren, Wesley Warren, Eric Warren, Lindsay Miller Diamond, Leland Miller, Shannon Ahner, Kasey Stevenson, Kristy Cobb, Kelly Louviere, Christopher Kelly, Trey Wells, Lauren Wells and Cody Wells; 29 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and special friends.
Pallbearers will be Eric Warren, Wesley Warren, Jeff Tharp, Jim Tharp, Christopher Kelly, Trey Wells and Cody Wells.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Warren, Chandler Warren, Joseph Stevenson, Joel Cobb, Drey Louviere and the members of the Loyal Order of Moose.
