Natchez Police Chief Walter Armstrong and police officer Thomas Borum watch as Natchez Boy Scouts of Troop 157 retire the American Flag Monday outside of the Natchez Police department. Borum said the police department thought it would be a good opportunity for the troop to experience a flag ceremony and to learn a little bit about flag etiquette. The flag will be saved for a future flag retirement where a larger ceremony of around 1000 flags will be retired.
