Adams County Sheriff’s Office seeking most wanted suspects

NATCHEZ —Jamionte Davis, who is charged with five counts of attempted murder, tops a list of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office’s most wanted criminals.

  • Davis, 17, is the main suspect in an Aug. 29 shooting that took place on Old Country Club Road. Davis is a black male, 5-feet, 10-inches tall and 160 pounds. His last known address is 726 Lower Woodville Rd.
  • Steven Christopher Burns, 52, is a white male, 5-feet, 10-inches tall and 190 pounds. He is charged for possession of a Schedule II controlled substance — methamphetamine.
  • Roosevelt Atkins, 49, is a black male, 5-feet, 11-inches tall, 269 pounds. He is charged with felony malicious mischief and shoplifting.
  • Corey Michael Danos, 30, is a white male, 5-feet, 5-inches tall, 165 pounds. He is charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
