NATCHEZ— Graveside services for Helen Breithaupt Aiguier, 89, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, March 24, 2019, will be 1 p.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Russell Wagoner officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Aiguier was born March 12, 1930, in Stanton, the daughter of Willis Gray and Mary Anders Gray.
She attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Sycamore Baptist Church and Missionary Baptist Church.
She enjoyed working. She was a homemaker, a cafeteria worker at Ferriday Elementary School, an in-home sitter, a clerk at McCrory’s, a clerk at Tillman’s Record Shop in the toy department, a clerk at Vogt’s Drug Store and Concordia Drug Store. She loved her family, friends and her church.
Aiguier was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Larry Breithaupt; two grandsons, Davey Cobb Jr. and Eddie Joe Hill Jr.; two sisters, Margie Higginbotham and Shirley Gray; and three brothers, Leroy Gray, Robert Gray and David Gray.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Ketchum of Dallas, Linda Painter and husband, Rickie, of Sandy Lake, and Janet Cardin and husband, Buddy, of Ferriday; one son, Walter Ray Breithaupt and wife, Lelia, of Vicksburg; three brothers, Clarence Gray and wife, Audrey, Alton Gray and wife, Virginia, and Hubert Gray, all of Natchez; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Terri Fletcher.
The family extends special thanks to Camelot Leisure Living and Encompass Hospice for the loving care they all provided during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Home.
