NATCHEZ — Lighting damaged an Entergy regulator and switches in two different locations around the industrial facility around 3 p.m. Friday afternoon causing approximately 1,150 entergy customers to lose power.

Outages were reported on Government Fleet Road, River Terminal Road, Louis Drive, Lower Woodville Road, Highland Boulevard, Seargent Prentiss Drive and part of U.S. 61 South.

In addition, the storm caused scattered outages in five counties served by Entergy, said customer service manager Tim Runnels.
