NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Lee Wright Hunt, 85, of Dallas, formerly of Natchez, who died on Monday, July 8, 2019, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Robinson Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Aaron Wesley officiating.  
Burial will follow at the Rowan Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Hunt was born on Aug. 15, 1933, in Natchez, the daughter of George Wright Sr. and Susie Miles Wright.
She was educated in the Natchez school system and received a nursing certification.
Mary was a retired nurse’s aide at Natchez Community Hospital. She was also a member of Greater Robinson Chapel Baptist Church. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and wrestling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hunt Sr.; her parents; three brothers, George Wright Sr., Ralph Wesley Wright and Robert Wright; and two sisters, Catherine Calhoun and Pinkie Miller.
Survivors include: two sons, Jerry Hunt and Melvin Hunt; two daughters, May Bell Hunt and Mary Ann Hunt; one brother, A.J. Wright; five sisters, Suewilla Woodfork, Katie M. Butler, Agnes Mayberry, Rebecca Wright and Hattie Brown; seven grandchildren, Deatrice Hunt Seals, Roland Robinson Jr., Shonde Hunt, Jacquetta Winn, Jermaine Hunt, Jaleesa Hunt and Trenton Hunt, 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
