NATCHEZ— Services for Aelex “Brenda” Webster Washington, 63, of Natchez, who died Friday, July 12, 2019, in Denham Springs, Louisiana, will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Christian Hope Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. John Scott officiating.  
Burial will follow at the Sunset View Memorial Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today at the funeral home with a celebration of life wake service at 7:15 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Saturday from 2 p.m. until service time at the church.
Mrs. Washington was born Sept. 5, 1955, the daughter of Louis Webster and Theresa Glasper.
She was a graduate of South Natchez High School, Natchez Junior College, Copiah Lincoln Community College and Alcorn State University.
Aelex was a site supervisor at AJFC-Headstart, a member of Christian Hope Missionary Baptist Church and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.  She enjoyed shopping, LSU football and coordinating events.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sharon Webster Warner; and one brother, Ronnie James Webster.
Survivors include her husband, Major Washington; one son, Carlos White; two daughters, Stacy Shannon and husband, James, and Aerica Thompson and husband, Anthony Sr.; three sisters, Doris Webster and companion, Stewart, Louise Barnes and Andrea Glasper and companion, Robert; four grandchildren, Anthony Thompson Jr., Anthony Thompson III, Malik Harris and Hayleigh Watkins; and other relatives and friends.
