FERRIDAY— Services for Brenda Gail Carter, 52, of Ferriday, who died Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Word of Faith Ambassador Outreach Church in Ferriday,
Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Ms. Carter was born May 22, 1967, in Pineville, Louisiana, the daughter of George Thomas and Betty Carter.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gabrieal Carter and maternal grandmother, Essie Lewis.
Survivors include her mother of Ferriday and her father of Alexandria, Louisiana; two daughters, Jessica Ivory of Ferriday and LaToya Carter of Natchez; four brothers, Calvin Carter and wife, Tawanna, of Baton Rouge, Andrew Carter and wife, Candice, of Memphis, Tennessee, Toney Carter and Tyrone Carter, both of Ferriday; two sisters, Ulanda Carter of Atlanta, and Renette Cook of Monroe, Louisiana; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
