NATCHEZ — Services for Jessie Lee Seiferth, 68, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bethel A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Birdon Mitchell Jr. officiating.    
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. Seiferth was born June 4, 1951, in Natchez, the son of Archie Lee Williams and Elouise Seiferth Johnson.
He was a 1970 graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School.  Jessie was also a graduate of the police academy, truck driving school in Pensacola, Florida, and welding school.
He was a retired truck driver and a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church. Jessie enjoyed watching wrestling, sports and westerns.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Reynolds Seiferth and his parents.
Survivors include one daughter, LaKeisha Seiferth Martin and husband, Christopher; a niece who was like a daughter, Cynthia Davis and husband, Luther; stepmother, Luticia Williams; two brothers, Caleb Ray Johnson Jr. and wife, Jacqueline, and Billy Ray Johnson and wife, Rhonda; three sisters, Celestine Havard and husband, Frank, Catherine Pollard and husband, Paul, and Elouise Davis; one grandson, Christopher J. Martin II; one granddaughter, Arrington G. Martin; a nephew who was like a grandson, Luther Davis Jr.; and other relatives and friends.
