NATCHEZ — Services for Peggy Lee Holloway Lindsey, 89, who died Feb. 22, 2020, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont, Texas, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home with the Rev. Dillon Wickliffe officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Ms. Lindsey was born Jan. 15, 1931, in Prentiss, Mississippi, the daughter of Lula Mae Bass Holloway and Eddie Lee Holloway.

She was a follower of Jesus Christ, a long-time member of Immanuel Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Ms. Lindsey was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie “Bill” Anderson Lindsey Jr. of Prentiss, and brother, Eddie Ray Holloway of Natchez.

Survivors include one brother, Jerry L. Holloway and wife, Betty of Natchez; two daughters, Dianne Lindsey Holmes and husband, Michael W. Holmes, M.D., of Beaumont, Texas, and Debra Lindsey Longwell and husband, Charles, of Valrico, Florida; four grandsons, John Holmes and wife, Angela, of Fort Worth, Texas, Noah Longwell and wife, Lindsay, of Pasadena, Maryland, Logan Longwell of Valrico, Florida, Ian Longwell of Laurel, Maryland, and granddaughter, Leigh Ann Holmes Majors and husband, Matthew, of Lumberton, Texas. Her eleven great-grandchildren include Megan, Kayla, Emily, Joshua, and Sarah Holmes, of Fort Worth, Texas, Grayson and Jack Longwell of Pasadena, Maryland, and Christopher, Luke, Charlotte, and Ella Majors of Lumberton, Texas. She is also survived by a number of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Gary Holloway, Greg Holloway, Charles Cain, Richard Lambert, Larry Chauvin, and Jimmy June. Soloist Martha Ann Wigington and pianist Caroyln Strong will provide musical services.
