Vidalia — Services for Donald “Donnie” Gene Boles, 65, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, at River Breeze Hospital, formerly Promise Hospital, will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Vidalia with Rev. Charles Bobo officiating. Burial will follow at Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Natchez.

A wake service will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Boles was born April 20, 1954, in Ferriday, to Archie Boles and Emma Lola Randall Boles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Susie Boles.

He is survived by two daughters, Sharee Levite and Brandi Chapman and husband Joey; four grandchildren, Logan Chapman, Kaitlyn Levite, Kamryn Chapman and Ethan Levite; one sister, Deborah Thornton and husband Ivy Ray; three brothers, Larry Boles and wife Peggy, Darrel Boles and wife Judy and Ronnie Boles and wife Diana; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Eric Warren, Wesley Warren, Jessie Forbess, Justin Thornton, Doug Yates and Ryan Boles; Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry Vestal, Ralph Cox, Charlie Stephens and Robert Warren.
