FAYETTE — Funeral services for La’Varius Terez Dee, 19, of Union Church, who died on Friday, March 13, 2020, in Union Church will be on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Union Church with Sgt. Silas Devine, officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah M.B. Church Cemetery in Union Church under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home – Fayette Branch.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m at the Fayette Branch. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the church.

La’Varius was born Sept. 24, 2000, in Natchez, the son of Terri Washington Dee and Gregory Odom, Sr. He was a 2019 graduate of Jefferson County High School. La’Varius was employed with Walmart Distribution Center in Brookhaven. He enjoyed playing football and working out.

He is preceded in death by his uncle, Jermaine Berry.

La’Varius leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, fiancé Aliciyia Patten, one daughter, Londyn Mi’liyah Dee; seven brothers, Bobby Dee Jr., Terence Dee, Jordan Dee, Gregory Odom, Jr., Kregory Odom, Adoriyon Odom, and Gregory Odom III; five sisters, Taylor Dee, Brittany Rankin, Autumn Odom, D’Ohnnica Odom, Diamond Odom, and Chelsey Odom; grandparents, Cora Berry, Burna Williams, Ruby and Franklin Odom; and other relatives and friends.
