Mississippi COVID-19 confirmed cases now at 140; no new deaths

The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Mississippi grew to 140 Saturday from 80 reported cases Friday, according to the Mississippi State Department of Health.

No new cases have been identified in Adams County, which still has only one confirmed case of COVID-19, and the state’s death toll from the virus still stands at 1 that was reported from Hancock County earlier this week.
