Heath Temple

Funeral services for Heath Daniel Temple, 18, of Liddieville, La., who died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, will be 1 p.m. today at Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home, with the Revs. Joe Stroud and Jerry Hunt Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Harris Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Temple was born Aug. 15, 1988, in Monroe. He knew from the age of seven that he wanted to be a funeral director. During his junior year in high school, he began working at the local funeral home. His passion for helping people overflowed into all the people around him. After graduating from Winnisboro High School in 2006, he enrolled at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. His path was straight and true, and he was a wonderful, compassionate and thoughtful person. He was a Christian and his faith was strong, enabling im to accomplish so much in so little time. He will be missed by all who have known him.
Mr. Temple was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Daniel Biggs; grandmother, Essie Williams Dean; and grandfather, James “Red” Dean.
Survivors include his mother, Eva Underwood and her husband, Spencer, both of Liddieville; his father, Ronnie Curtis Temple and his wife, Peggy, both of Waterproof; brother, Louis Temple and his wife, Danielle of Oceanside, Calif.; sister, Helen Marie Temple of Waterproof; paternal grandparents, Curtis and Velma Temple of Winnsboro; maternal step-grandparents, Jerry and Barbara Underwood of Liddieville; paternal step-grandparents, Oscar and Pearl Nugent of Waterproof; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Justin Evans, Wade Watkins, Ken White, Greg White, Benny Lee McGurk and Dustin Augillard.
The honorary pallbearer will be Paul Allen.
