Services for Earline Short, 65, of Natchez, who died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at her residence, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with Bro. James Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Short was born Dec. 21, 1941, in Natchez.

Survivors include her sister, Susan Short of Natchez; brother, Jessie Short of Natchez; nieces, Virginia Waterman of Natchez and Loretta Harper of Gonzales; nephews, Hollis Waterman Jr. of Greenbrier, Tenn. and Earnest Waterman of White Bluff, Tenn.; special friends, Robert Moore and Carol Moore; six great-nieces; six great-nephews; six great-great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Earnest Waterman, Hollis Waterman, Joseph Stevens Jr., Zackery Day, Rodney Meece, and Robby Moore.
