Services for Rose Lewis, 90, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be 11:30 a.m. today at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. Shep Bethley officiating.

Burial will follow at New Daughters Cemetery, in Wildsville, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Ms. Lewis was born March 12, 1916, in Wildsville, the daughter of Albert and Sarah Miller Lewis. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her son, James Lewis and daughter, Paula, of St. Grabiel, La. and son Arthur Lewis and wife, Inez, of Baton Rouge; daughters, Katie Lewis and Dorothy Jefferson, both of Ferriday; sisters, Annie Bell McCray, Louella Lewis, Marguritte Lewis, Judy Lewis, and Josephine Lewis, all of Ferriday, and Anna Smith of Algiers; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
