Services for infant Ashton Noel Howard, who died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Daughters of Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. D. W. Howard officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Ashton was born Jan. 22, 2007, in Natchez, the son of Ashley Howard of Natchez and Theodore Shinard of Ferriday.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Thompson Jr.; great-grandparents, the Rev. Shed Howard and Marie Rice Howard.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, Herman Howard; grandparents, Carrie Howard and Ruth Strauder and husband, Edward; aunts, Vonkeitha Howard, Kerwanda Morgan, Dana Strauder, Takara Gaines, Flecia Watson, all of Natchez, Tanekia Foster of Mesquite, Texas; uncle, Morris Watson of Natchez; great-grandparents, Robert and Inez Foster of Natchez; great-uncles and aunts, William and Permilia Myles and Charles and Dorothy Carter, all of Natchez; cousins, Charles Carter Jr., Charell Carter, Najwa Bass, Nororiam Howard, Marieshala Ware, Daueon Strauder and Mya Carter.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
