Memorial services for Stephen Lewis Starling, 53, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, at his residence, will be 11 a. m. Friday at Abundant Life Church with the Rev. John Collard III officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Starling was born Sept. 24, 1953, in Baton Rouge, the son of Henry Clayton Starling and Georgia Ann Mitchon. He was a plumber and had served in the United States Coast Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his daughters, Leslie Starling and Lacye Starling, both of Natchez and their mother, Lenore Caraway Starling, also of Natchez; grandson, Derrick Jerome Curtis Jr. of Natchez; and close friend, Loren “Bubba” Bolyer of Vidalia; two sisters, other relatives and friends.
