Graveside services for Prentiss Nelson Roy, 76, who died March 9, 2007, in Wichita Falls will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas, with the Rev. Ron Redding officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
A son of the late Lane and Pearl Roy, Mr. Roy was born May 11, 1930, in Tallulah, La.
Mr. Roy served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He later retired from management in the hotel business. He was an active member of Highland Heights Baptist Church, and former member of Parkway Baptist Church of Natchez, Miss. He was an avid bowler, and fisherman.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Roy of Fort Worth; son, Larry Roy and his wife Joni of Wichita Falls; sister, Opal Leake; brother, Alvin Roy and his wife Dorothy, all of Natchez; four grandchildren, Lisa and her husband Tony, Cindy, Paul and Dana; three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Micheal, and Karmen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family.
