Services for Claude Collier Jr., 78, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Russell Wagoner officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Collier was born Oct. 3, 1928, in Franklin County, the son of Claude Collier Sr. and Eddice Havard Collier.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Frances Collier; brothers, Howard Collier, John Collier, Mickey Collier, and Wayne Collier; and a sister, Myrtis Green.
Survivors include his sons, Robert Collier and wife, Linda, and Randy Collier and wife, Deborah, all of Natchez; daughter, Martha Wilson and husband, Donald, of Natchez; grandson, Cameron Collier and wife, Charmaine, of Natchez; granddaughters, Stephanie Wilson, Tiffany Collier, Denise Collier, and Kimberly Collier; great-grandchildren, Devin, Dylan, Brooke, and Reagan Collier; sisters, Shirley Lee and husband, Jimmy, Eddice Curtis and husband, James, and Dorothy O’Neal, all of Natchez; and brothers, Charles Collier and wife, Glenda, of Natchez and Bobby Collier and wife, Sherry, of Texas.
Pallbearers will be Lee Gillespie, George Tarver, Kevin Wilson, Johnny Tarver, Donald Wilson and Bo Halford.
