Flora Pickle

NATCHEZ – Services for Flora Mae Pickle, 81, of Natchez, who died Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Natchez First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Wynn officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pickle was born Oct. 13, 1926, in Natchez, the daughter of John Miller Farr and Mattie Josephine Latham Farr. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard Pickle; son, David Pickle; and sisters, Ulora Byrd and Martha Jane Farr.
Survivors include her sons, Edward Pickle and wife, Abbie, both of Daphne, Ala. and Bruce Pickle and wife, Jan, both of Natchez; grandchildren, Dwight Taylor, Kelly Baldwin and husband, David and Nicole Chambless and husband, Rick; great-grandchildren, Ethan Baldwin, Chase Baldwin and Andrew Chambless; and sisters, Sophie Campbell of Natchez, Carolyn Fortney of Memphis, Tenn., Margaret Allen and husband, Gary, both of Pearl; and a number of nieces and nephews.
