NATCHEZ — Services for Lisa R. Hayes, 46, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at her residence, will be noon today at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Stampley, under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Miss Hayes was born Jan. 14, 1962, the daughter of Mary L. Hayes. She was employed with Comfort Suites Inn until her illness. Miss Hayes was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother; one sister, Virginia Hayes; and grandmother, Sue Willie White.
Survivors include three sons, Troy Hayes and Jeremy Dukes, both of Houston, and Brandit Hayes and wife, Loretha, both of Natchez; four sisters, Mary A. Carradine and husband, Willie, both of Natchez, Ruby Batieste, LaDell Carroll and husband, Norbert, Sue Oates and husband, Horace, all of New Orleans; two brothers, James Hayes and Maurice Hayes, both of Natchez; three grandchildren; a life-long friend and companion, Charles Miller; very special friends, Glenda Matthews and Claude Pickett; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
